Hi, I’m Megan, the founder of Terroir Adventure Travel. As a Wine Professor, terroir is a term that I spend a lot of time teaching about. It’s the connection between the land, history, soil, climate, culture, people, and food that we eat. It’s the core of my approach to group travel.

By the end of each trip, I want you to have a strong snapshot of the culture you’ve been immersed in for the last few weeks. I want you to return home with new feelings and thoughts about the place you visited and the people you met.

I’m passionate about immersive travel, and I care a lot about the experiences I offer, which I why I take every trip before I offer it to you. I only hire local guides in each location, and I work with them to set the itinerary before I take it. This way, I know them, and I have answers to a lot of the questions you’re probably going to ask. And you’ll get to know them too!

Each one of my trips is capped at 8 people, which I find to be the magic number that fosters community but still allows every person in the group to hear and ask questions of the guide.
