  • Arrive in Cairo and meet your local Terroir Travel host at the airport. After immigration and luggage assistance, transfer to your hotel overlooking the Great Pyramids at Giza. Time to rest, settle in, and absorb the first sounds of the city.

  • Visit the Great Pyramids at Giza and walk the plateau with your guide. Lunch nearby. Afternoon at Saqqara exploring the step pyramid complex, tombs, and desert landscape. Evening in Cairo.

  • Morning flight to Aswan. Transfer to your Nubian guesthouse along the Nile. Settle in, explore the surrounding village, and enjoy time to relax. Afternoon visit to the Aswan High Dam. Welcome dinner at the guesthouse.

  • Boat to Elephantine Island and explore the archaeological remains and small local museum. Lunch at an island restaurant overlooking the Nile. Afternoon boat tour through the islands with a visit to the botanical garden. Return to the guesthouse for dinner.

  • Visit Abu al-Hawa and the Noble Tombs overlooking the river, with an optional camel ride. Continue with a Nubian village walk. Lunch at the guesthouse and relaxed afternoon. Sunset dinner in downtown Aswan followed by a walk through the market.

  • Early departure for a day trip to Abu Simbel. Travel south along Lake Nasser and explore the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari carved into the rock. Return to Aswan in the afternoon. Evening at leisure.

  • Boat ride to Philae Temple and explore the island complex. Lunch on a felucca. Afternoon felucca departure, sailing along quiet stretches of the Nile with time for swimming. Dinner prepared on the riverbank. Overnight on the felucca.

  • Relaxed day sailing on the felucca. Swim in the Nile, read, and watch daily life along the river. Stop along small riverbanks and farmland. Meals prepared onboard and a party on the side of the Nile. Overnight on the river.

  • Visit Kom Ombo Temple overlooking the Nile. Continue to Daraw to explore the camel market and local town. Transfer back to Aswan in the afternoon. Evening at leisure.

  • Visit the Nubian Museum to understand the history and culture of the region. Stop at Aswan Spices for tea and local products. Lunch in town. Afternoon visit to the Unfinished Obelisk and surrounding quarry.

  • Morning bird watching trip along the Nile and surrounding islands. Local boat trip through narrow channels and quiet river landscapes. Afternoon at leisure in Aswan.

  • Flight to Cairo. Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum and explore key highlights. Evening in Cairo.
